What this website stores on your device, and how you stay in control of it.

Draft. This document is a working draft prepared before BINMAN’s public launch and is pending review by a qualified advocate in Kenya. It describes how we intend to operate; where something is not yet settled, it says so.

1. In short

This website does not set advertising, profiling or tracking cookies. It remembers one thing on your device: the choice you make in Cookie Settings.

2. What we store

  • Your privacy choice: saved in your browser’s local storage (not a cookie) when you press “Save choices” in Cookie Settings. It never leaves your device.
  • Analytics: not currently in use. If we introduce website analytics, they will be cookieless and aggregate (Plausible), and will only run if you switch them on.

3. Third-party requests

The interactive prototype loads its typeface from Google Fonts, so your browser requests that file from Google when the demo opens. Our hosting provider processes standard request data to deliver the site. See the Privacy Policy for more.

4. Your choices

You can review or change your choice at any time.

You can also clear site data from your browser settings, which resets your choice.
